At HOME, our primary concern is having enough money to send the care packages to our service men and women. Most of the care packages sent are via United States Postal Service (USPS) flat rate boxes. Please consider adopting a box for shipment. The cost is $18.40 per box for shipping. Please send donations to the mailing address provided above. Make checks payable to HOME. If you need a receipt please include a self addressed stamped envelope.
The Donate button below has been configured specifically for adopting a single flat rate
box. The USPS cost to ship a single flat rate box is $18.40 which is processed via
PayPal which incurs a small transaction fee of 0.86 cents. Thus the total donation
to adopt a box on-line is $19.26. Click the Donate button below to adopt a box.
If you would like to donate a different amount or adopt
multiple boxes, please use the Donate button under the navigation menu to the left.
Wellby Federal Credit Union members may make a donation by transferring funds directly to HOME's Wellby account. Contact Trudy Duhon (trudyduhon@helpourmilitaryendure.org) for details.
With every care package that we send, we like to include as many cards and letters as we can to show our support for our fighting men and women. We are always in need of more letters and cards. Would you consider taking a few minutes to write a letter or words of encouragement on a card that would get to a soldier in Iraq or Afghanistan? Not only will our military receive much needed items to make their lives a little easier, but the cards and letters can do a lot for a lonely soldier. If you would like to help, please send us a card or letter (you can send more than one) to be included in a care package. Please remember to be gender neutral when writing to the soldiers because you may not know who will be on the receiving end. Send your cards and letters to the mailing address provided above.
